I published a book!

The Lawman's Daughter is a clean romance that takes place in the Wild West of 1890's Montana. Open the book and you'll meet Maryan, the daughter of a legendary sheriff and a young woman who struggles with discontentment, bitterness, and a frustrating load of everything else. Well, maybe not everything. But one thing's for sure, it can feel like everything is a struggle when you're a teen. 

When the curtain opens, envy, frustration and a load of kitchen work during a heatwave have left Maryan feeling less than...sweet. You soon find out that her best friend...the one whose parents grant her every wish...the one with all the new fashions from Silvertown...the one who the wind doesn't dare blow contrary to...is leaving for a big life in the big city. And Maryan? She's left behind to do drudgery work for her large family. 

Enter Alan McKinnley. The man who introduces chaos into her life just by moving to town. After an unfortunate introduction sets Maryan and Alan, her father's new deputy, off on the wrong foot, Maryan must try to navigate the most awkward set of situations she's ever placed herself in. 

But if she thought that was what life going wrong looks like, she's in for a big surprise. 

Is it possible for Alan and Maryan to find out each other's good qualities under immense pressure? 

Alan. He's got problems of his own. He's not exactly happily accepted in town - but that seems like the least of his worries when things start to turn serious. 

Arson. Robbery. A gang who he's not a match for. What started as a simple deputy job becomes an all-consuming life that requires more courage, strategy and maturity than Alan thinks he's got. 

He's not alone in that opinion, either. As time goes on, the townspeople's distrust of him becomes more and more evident. What happens when protecting the town depends on their support?

Does right always triumph over wrong?
